Omri Feldman
PhD Candidate in CS @ HUJI • Student Researcher @ Google
I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (supervised by Amir Feder) and a Student Researcher at Google. My research focuses on Causal Inference, particularly at its intersection with Mechanistic Interpretability and Large Language Models. I am interested in developing CausalML methods for latent textual treatments and using causality to enhance the interpretability and performance of large language models.
I hold an M.A. in Economics from the Paris School of Economics and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Tel Aviv University. Before starting my PhD, I spent over a decade as a Senior Data Scientist in the tech industry, working across both startups and large-scale enterprises.
